13  SECONDS

13 Seconds was an idea that took a while to shape. Initially, it was an attempt to use up a roll of Adox CMSII, ISO 20, 35mm film in the last throes of Autumn 2019. Having no light to shoot anything with a reasonable shutter speed, I set the camera to 1 second and messed about.

That roll was a revalation as some of the images maintained a sense of the subject but left much to the imagination. I then set to work with a bulk roll of Polypan F cinematic film (ISO 50) to create the body of work below.
